The Galaxy S8's launch price of KRW 9,35,000 (roughly Rs. 55,700). There is no update on the pricing of the phones in international markets. The report also suggests that pre-orders for the Galaxy S9 will begin from March. 3y5y56

As we mentioned, a report by ETNews and iPhone X - at a starting price of $999 (roughly Rs. 63,500) plus taxes.

Speculation of a price hike comes just days after sent out press invites for the Galaxy Unpacked Event 2018 to be held on February 25. According to the invite, the Galaxy S9 duo is expected to sport upgraded camera technology. We can expect a variable aperture of f/1/5 - f/2.4 in the rear camera, alongside a 'Super Speed' and a 'Super Slow-mo' mode.

Evan Blass of VentureBeat recently outed the latest press renders of the smartphones. While the images suggest a similar display as the one seen on Galaxy S8 series, a PhoneArena report claims that the phone will feature thinner bezels than before. Additionally, an Intelligent Scan mode might combine face recognition and the iris scanner on the Galaxy S9.
