Honor and Huawei have been pushing new models out at a frenetic pace for the past few months, and after attacking nearly every product segment, it's time for the sub-Rs. 10,000 space to get some attention. The new Xiaomi Redmi 6A. 4ik6s
The Honor 7S looks good and has an attractive price. However, the spec sheet is a bit too modest, even considering the low price. The processor is relatively weak, and this phone stuttered throughout our time with it. There's only 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, and no fingerprint sensor. On the bright side, the screen is sharp and crisp, with vibrant colour reproduction. Huawei's EMUI has a few quirks, including an annoying banner when apps run letterboxed. We were pretty disappointed with the cameras, although battery life was fair. There are better phones available at this price and for slightly more, making it easy for us to suggest that buyers look elsewhere.
