New Angry Birds game with medieval theme teased by Rovio 2r6229

Finnish mobile-gaming company Angry Birds series, on Saturday released a trailer of a new spin-off of the Angry Birds franchise. Centred around a medieval theme, the new trailer depicts a knight in armour. The video opens with the tagline, 'The most epic soft launch ever' and towards the end shows the line "Starting in Australia and Canada... Other countries to follow."

In February, Rovio had announced that a Angry Birds Stella: Best Friends Forever, introduces six new birds with the main protagonist being Stella - a pink bird described by Rovio as 'one of the Angry Birds who is fierce and feisty besides appearing cute'. g3d35

The new trailer revealed on Saturday, may just be a new one for Angry Birds Stella. There might also be a possibility that the teaser trailer is for a completely different game, representing a completely different storyline.

Rovio's previous release was cost as much as $100 (Rs. 6,200 roughly).

The Angry Birds series has seven games of the bird-flinging type, and two games that offer a different gameplay option. There is also an Angry Birds Movie slated to come in 2016 along with merchandise offers.
