First September. Since, the company has rebranded the smartwatch to the iMCO Watch. On Friday, the company announced its availability in India. Priced at Rs. 13,900, the iMCO Watch is available to buy from e-commerce site Yerha.com in two colour variants - Mineral Silver and Carbon Black. 3j4223

While Amazon's Alexa is the main USP of the iMCO Watch - as it is the "world's first Alexa smartwatch - it comes with some decent features such as a 400x400 pixel AMOLED display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of inbuilt storage. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11b./g/n and Bluetooth v4.1. It sports a heart rate sensor.

The company is also touting dust and water resistance, apart from the presence of an accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer. The smartwatch runs on an Android-based OS called Cronologics, which is iMCO's own product, developed by former Android developers. The company says the smartwatch can provide a battery life up to 32 hours in always-on mode, and up to two days with the display turned off.

While CoWatch's main USP is the software which integrates Alexa, iMCO has also given thought to the design. The smartwatch is made entirely of stainless steel barring the display and ceramic ring. A single button is present on the side that is used to turn the display on or off.

The company believes its interface is fast and responsive, providing quick access to all your apps and notifications. The smartwatch is compatible with both Android (v5.0 and above) and iOS (v9.0 and above). However, with Cronologics OS, all the computing happens either on the watch itself or in the cloud, which means the smartwatch is not reliant on a smartphone to work.
