Garmin Fenix 6, Fenix 6S, Fenix 6X, Fenix 6X Pro Solar With Heart Rate Sensor, Pace-Strategy Feature Launched in India 2y3z1n

Garmin has launched its Fenix 6 series of rugged smartwatches in India. The new smartwatch range is designed to help s track activities such as mountain biking, golfing, trail running, hiking, hunting, and diving. Garmin has offered a PacePro technology to provide a pace-strategy to runners. The Fenix 6 smartwatches also have a Power Manager to deliver an efficient battery life. The range brings new Garmin smartwatch models, including the Garmin Fenix 6X Pro Solar that is the company's first solar-powered watch.

The PacePro feature that comes preloaded on the Garmin smartwatch or using the Garmin Connect or Garmin Connect Mobile. Further, it provides s with target split pace, actual split pace, distance to the next split, and how much time they are ahead/behind on their target, all on the watch face.

In addition to the PacePro, the Garmin Fenix 6 series includes TopoActive Europe maps for outdoor adventures, ski maps for over 2,000 ski resorts worldwide, and 41,000 golf courses. The smartwatches also have onboard storage to store up to 2,000 songs and sync playlists from several music services.

Garmin has also provided a customisable Power Manager to let s tweak settings and sensors to enhance battery life. Additionally, the Fenix 6 series with features including built-in activity profiles, and VO2 max estimates and training status with adjustments for heat and altitude. The smartwatches also include built-in heart rate sensor for swimming and Pulse Ox blood oxygen saturation. Further, there is a Body Battery feature to let s see their body's energy levels.

All models in the Fenix 6 series include Garmin Pay. Similar to other smartwatches, s can receive alerts on the wrist for incoming calls, texts, and emails among others.

The Garmin Fenix 6 range include the Garmin Fenix 6X Pro Solar a transparent solar charging lens called Power Glass. The solar-powered smartwatch is touted to deliver over 24 days of battery life in the smartwatch mode -- showing an additional three days when utilising the solar charging capabilities.

Aside from the Fenix 6X Pro Solar, the range has the Fenix 6 and Fenix 6X GPS smartwatches with a rugged design -- constructed for a trimmer. The Fenix 6 has 1.3-inch display, while the Fenix 6X has a 1.4-inch display. Furthermore, the Fenix 6S has a 1.2-inch display.

Garmin has offered QuickFit, nylon bands, and silicone colours. The Sapphire editions also come with a scratch-resistant sapphire lens.

The Garmin Fenix 6 series will go on sale through online platforms such as Amazon.in, Flipkart, Paytm Mall, and Tata Cliq. The smartwatches will also be available through offline stores including Helios Watch Stores, Johnson Watch, Samay Watches, and Go Sport among others.

On the pricing front, the Garmin Fenix 6X in Sapphire Carbon Gray DLC with Black Band is priced at Rs. 84,990. In contrast, the Garmin Fenix 6X Pro Solar in Sapphire Titanium Carbon Gray DLC with Black Band is available with a price tag of Rs. 94,990. There is also the Fenix 6X Pro Solar in Sapphire Titanium Carbon Gray DLC with DLC Titanium Bracelet at Rs. 1,14,990.

Garmin has the Fenix 6S in Sapphire Rose Gold-tone with Heathered Black Nylon Band and Sapphire Light Gold-tone with Shale Gray Leather Band is priced at Rs. 82,490. Also, the Fenix 6 in Sapphire Titanium with Ember Orange Band and Sapphire Black DLC with Heathered Red Nylon Band carries a price tag of Rs. 82,490. The Sapphire Titanium finish of the Fenix 6 with Vented Titanium Bracelet, on the other hand, carries a price tag of Rs. 91,490. There is also the Fenix 6X in Sapphire Black DLC with Brown Leather Band at Rs. 91,490.
