giving cashbacks and vouchers of up to Rs. 2,599.
The Rs. 509 Vodafone pack comes with 1GB data per day, bundled local and STD calls, free roaming outgoing calls, and 100 SMSes per day for 84 days. There is cap on the bundled calls – s can make up to 250 minutes of calls per day and 1,000 minutes per week without charge. This plan is in direct competition with the Rs. 459 Jio plan that provides 1GB data per day, 84-day validity, free calls (including outgoing), 100 SMSes per day, and access to Jio apps. Reliance Jio also has a Rs. 509 plan, but that comes with 2GB data per day and 49-day validity, and the other freebies the operator offers.
Vodafone’s Rs. 458 plan has validity of 70 days, and provides customers with 1GB data per day, 100 SMSes, free roaming calls, and bundled calls. The daily and weekly FUPs on calls applies with this plan is the same as that of the Rs. 509 plan. Jio’s plan offering similar benefits is priced at Rs. 399.
While these plans are available only to select customers on pan-India basis, it is likely Vodafone will make them available to more s in the weeks to come. Prepaid s can check the MyVodafone app or call the customer care to check if these offers are available to them.
The operator has been in overdrive mode over the few weeks, as it launched data rollover facility for postpaid s last week.
