Intel kicked off its annual developers conference in San Francisco on Tuesday with a bunch of varied announcements. Prominent amongst those was a new Android tablet unveiled in partnership with Dell that the two companies are touting as the 'thinnest tablet in the world.'

Dell also announced that there will be a larger, 10-inch variant of the device, while Intel confirmed that apart from the Wi-Fi variant of the tablet, an SKU with the Intel XMM 7260 LTE modem inside capable of reaching LTE speeds up to 300mbps will also be available.
Dell and Intel did not reveal other details about the tablet but did say that the device will be available in time for the holiday season later this year.
