After its Xiaomi Mi 8 went on sale for the first time in China, and as expected, the smartphone ran out of stock in just over a minute. A Xiaomi official confirmed the news to MyDrivers that the Xiaomi Mi 8 stock ran out in over a minute. The sale began at 10am CST (7.30am IST), and was over in just under two minutes. The next Xiaomi Mi 8 sale will also begin at 10am China Time on June 12, registrations for which have already begun on mi.com.

The Mi 8 price has been set at CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs. 28,600) for the 6GB RAM/ 64GB inbuilt storage variant, CNY 2,999 (about Rs. 31,600) for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant, and CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs. 34,800) for the 6GB RAM/ 256GB inbuilt storage model. The smartphone is made available in White, Gold, Light Blue, and Black colour options.
