Sony Xperia 'Cosmos' With MediaTek SoC Spotted in Leaked Images 2t6fs

An alleged new mid-range Sony smartphone running Android 5.0 Lollipop, dubbed Sony Cosmos, has been leaked in purported live images over Twitter.

On Saturday, tipster @Upleaks posted images of the as-yet-unannounced Sony Cosmos on Twitter. While the initial tweet by the tipster didn't suggest any specifications of the device, a further tweet noted that the Sony Cosmos will be powered by MediaTek processor and will run Android 5.0 Lollipop. 6f5k3c

As yet there is nothing else known about the Sony Cosmos, but going by the purported images of the device, it appears to be a tad different from the present Sony Xperia smartphones. The alleged Sony handset is seen to have a big front-facing camera, small bezels, and three on-screen capacitive touch buttons.

The Sony Xperia M4 Aqua is the successor of the company's Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box. LTE and dual-SIM variants will be available in some markets.
