Samsung recently started rolling out the
Galaxy Note 5 in India. Now, the South Korean company is said to have started rolling out the Marshmallow update to the Galaxy S6 Edge+.

Many Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ (SM-G928GZSA) s in India and report (via Mobipicker) that they have started receiving the new update over-the-air (OTA). So far there has been no word from Samsung on the rollout of Marshmallow update for the Galaxy S6 Edge+.
According to reports, the Marshmallow update for the Galaxy S6 Edge+ is about 1.3GB in size.
Unfortunately, the changelog for the Marshmallow update is not available but we can expect the Galaxy S6 Edge+ to receive the same update as the Galaxy S6 Edge smartphone. To recall, Samsung last month started Galaxy S6 Edge globally.
The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update brought enhanced edge screen and new edge features for the Galaxy S6 Edge smartphone. After the update, s could widen the edge from 260 pixels to 550 pixels, enabling more content to be displayed and a shortcut to the settings menu was also included. The update introduced a Tasks edge that provided shortcuts to often used app features and tasks, like creating an event in S Planner, setting an alarm or composing a text message. A Quick tools also was introduced that included a ruler, com, and customisable flashlight. Customising the Edge handle was also possible after the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.
