Samsung's Galaxy J1 (2016) smartphone made a brief appearance at one of the company's physical retail partners in Dubai back in January. The company however made no announcement regarding the launch at that time.

Samsung has now made the Galaxy J1 (2016) official in Russia. The smartphone has been listed on the company's site without pricing and availability details.
