The company's move comes amidst the ongoing COVID-19 crisis in the country. The company has also announced that it will not launch any new devices during the month of May. Poco also said it will update its consumers on any new developments regarding launches or warranty extensions.

In a press release, Poco said it “wanted to reiterate that nothing is more important than the well-being of our employees, consumers, of the Poco family, and everyone who has been associated with us.”

Commenting on releases, Poco said that it “has consciously decided not to conduct any launch in May 2021.” The company further added, “We are pausing our new launches as we hope for the situation to improve.”
