Moto X and Moto G Will Receive 'Android L', Says Motorola Customer Care 651tz

It seems that the Motorola isn't going to just update its Moto X and Moto G smartphones to Android 4.4.4 KitKat, with its customer care department claiming that the company will update the two smartphones to the recently unveiled Android L.

According to screenshots of the conversations with launched Moto E, the representative wrote, "For the Moto E, we do not have any information as of today." 1f3366

It is still too early to say if the information is correct or not, as developer preview source code available for Nexus devices earlier this month. Also usually when it comes to such information regarding firmware updates; customer care isn't the most reliable source of information.

According to Motorola, the Android 4.4.4 KitKat update for the Moto E, Moto G and Moto X will include several stability, framework and security fixes as well as a new phone dialler and OpenSSL-related fixes.
