Micromax on Friday launched two entry-level 3G-enabled Android smartphones in the country, the Bolt Supreme, and the Bolt Supreme 2. The former is priced at Rs. 2,749, while the latter is priced at Rs. 2,999. The Indian mobile brand in a press statement said the two devices are meant for first-time smartphone s, and will be available via retail stores. 6p38

The dual-SIM Micromax Bolt Supreme runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop, and features a 3.5-inch display (resolution unspecified). It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor that's coupled with 512MB of RAM. It bears a 2-megapixel rear camera with flash, and a VGA (0.3-megapixel) front-facing camera. It comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage that's expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It offers 3G connectivity, one of the highlights of the smartphone at this price point. It is powered by a 1200mAh battery and will be available in Champagne White, and Grey and Black dual-tone colour variants.
