GSM Arena has cited a Korean report which claims that the South Korean handset maker has plans to launch the successor to the LG Optimus G Pro at MWC 2014, while the alleged LG G3 flagship smartphone will be unveiled in May. 5k4h6t
Further, the scheduled for a launch in March at a New York event. The report also expects that the alleged LG G Pro sequel will come with a 5.9-inch QHD display, while the rumoured LG G3 is said to come with a 5.2-inch QHD display.
We've already heard reports about the yet-to-be-announced LG G3's specifications, which include a 1440x2560 pixels QHD (Quad-HD) display; an octa-core chipset, believed to be codenamed LG Odin, being developed by the company itself, and also a 16-megapixel rear camera.
Another report had suggested that fingerprint recognition technology for its next flagship smartphone and has been testing a prototype of the alleged LG G3 with fingerprint scanner.
As per the report, LG has been testing a swipe fingerprint sensor that's different from what Apple is using on iPhone 5s. The report did not detail much about the feature on the next flagship from LG, but it is said to come with the regular functions like unlocking the smartphone, and mobile payment authorisations.
