The version 1.6 update to Jio4GVoice now lets VoLTE phone s make video calls through the app, something that was not possible before. Earlier, you could use the dialler to make calls or send SMSes, but it didn't allow you to make video calls. However, the latest update changes that, and a tiny video calling button also shows up next to the voice calling button for all your s. Of course, for the video calling to work, the at the other end should also have Jio4GVoice app installed on their phone, and a working Jio SIM as well. Unfortunately, the iOS app does not JioFi devices.
Jio4GVoice v1.6 also brings persistent incoming call notifications to let s know more distinctly when they receive a phone call. Apart from the new features, there's also the usual fresh crop of bug fixes and stability improvements that come along with every new update.
